MY RADIANT COMPLEXION ROUNDUP.

MY RADIANT COMPLEXION ROUNDUP.

My daily base favourites…

Apart from my experimental eyeliner stage circa 2004, I’ve always been a minimal makeup kinda gal – I just love fresh, dewy skin, flushed pink cheeks and bright eyes… albeit with a ton of mascara, that’s something I didn’t leave behind during my emo stage!
Despite this, I’m still a makeup magpie and I love using a wealth of products to get that perfectly polished look.
Base products are always my favourites to peruse; I adore primers, brightening concealers, illuminators and finishing mists! I always feel like when my complexion is perfected, the rest of my makeup comes together flawlessly too.
Allow me to introduce a few staples for my everyday face…
Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo
Rihanna’s range is still winning praise from just about everyone, and I love that it and promises inclusivity for all women! This highlighter duo has to be my favourite find – it offers both a subtle day glow to an insanely supercharged sparkle. I use it more like a blush than a highlighter, but I love that it does a bit of both.
I have the shade GIRL Next Door/Chic Phreak, it works like magic when I run a brush over the two shades and glide it over my cheekbones for that much-needed pop of colour. Even though these are a pretty powerful wash of colour, they blend so seamlessly with the rest of my make-up.
Bobbi Brown Primer Plus Radiance SPF 35
This primer is absolutely delicious for a simple quick-fix, I apply it all over before my foundation and I find they compliment each other and work their magic for a perfected, radiant and bright complexion. I like that it has the added sun protection too, Bobbi Brown never fail me!
Chantecaille Liquid Lumière Anti-Aging Illuminator
An illuminator is a staple in my beauty kit and this Chantecaille Liquid Illuminator is my saving grace. When the sun starts to make an appearance, I want my make up to feel light and fresh and in no way caked on. Some days where I don’t require so much coverage, I’ll wear it alone dotted on my cheekbones and cupid’s bow for that minimal dewy finish.

Nars Liquid Blush in Orgasm
In the name of Spring, liquid blusher has made a comeback! I’m usually a cream blush kinda gal but I got this recently and wow, what a product! I’ve been using the NARS Multiple in Orgasm for the longest time, but I always felt like I needed to use a lot to get a decent colour payoff. I think NARS heard my woes somehow and produced the ultimate liquid blush – this seriously packs a punch!
I dab on a little over cheeks and blend in – the product is fairly pigmented so be sure not to overdo it as a little really goes a long way! I used to apply it directly to my cheeks but even a touch of product was often too much, so now I use the back of my hand as a palette and dip the brush in before blending in to cheeks. It really is the most flattering flush!
Bobbi Brown Creamy Corrector
I’ve been using this corrector for years now and it’s always been something I’ve just used without really straying from, I honestly find Bobbi Brown the best brand for base products! For flawless results, I warm a little with my finger before gently tapping on to the under-eye area – what a difference it makes to my tired peepers!

Benefit Roller Eye Bright Pencil
Just when you thought you had every brightening product under the sun, you discover an eye pencil for the waterline! This Benefit pick-me-up product is incredible – as someone who suffers regularly from red eyes, I really rate this little wonder.
MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study
Now we’re talking! Bare Study is honestly such an underrated product, I absolutely love it. I use it as a primer on my lids for amping up eyeshadow, or in the corner of my eyes and on my Cupid’s Bow for a bit of added highlight. It’s also great alone if you like a simple, subtle shimmer on the lids – everyone should have this in their stash!
What a lineup! This girl really knows her base products, am I right?! What are your radiant skin saviours?
