‘Dickinson’ season 2 casts Finn Jones and Pico Alexander
After a successful first season, Dickinson has some exciting casting announcements for its next instalment.
It looks like the cast of the Hailee Steinfeld led Emily Dickinson series at Apple TV+ will be growing in season 2. The show will be adding Finn Jones (Game of Thrones, Iron Fist) and Pico Alexander (Home Again, Catch 22) to its already excellent ensemble in season 2, which is currently in production.
Jones will be playing Samuel Bowles, “an energetic and magnetic newspaper editor,” who will likely have something to do with Emily’s career as a writer. Alexander will take on the role of Henry “Ship” Shipley, “a dropout of Amherst College and a boarder with the Dickinsons.”
Dickinson season 1 is currently streaming on Apple TV+, following its launch on November 1, 2019. The show is a “modern period piece,” that features 19th century characters, settings, and themes, with modern day language. The show also stars Jane Krakowski, Toby Huss, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt, and Adrian Blake Enscoe.
