Healthy Breakfast





On Saturday I went to Holland and Barrett and I got some Chia seeds in the penny sale! I asked 
shop assistant what can I eat it with?  She said you can eat it with what ever you like! So when i got home I scoured the Internet to how to cook it and recipes for the one I liked! 

Tip I leant 

I include chia seeds because they are a great source of omega-3, protein and fibre. They slowly release energy in your body throughout the day, so you won't get that sudden feeling of hunger mid-morning.

The first thing to do is take a heaped teaspoon amount of chia seeds into a glass with about 3 tablespoons of water. I always guess the proportions so don't worry too much about that. Leave them to soak in the glass while you prepare everything else.

Porridge with Flaxseed and Chia Seeds with Raisons and Fruit.

1) The first thing to do is soak your chia seeds.

2) In a saucepan, place 3/4 cup of organic oats, 3/4 cup of almond milk, and 3/4 cup of water. Stir and keep on a medium heat for about 5 minutes.

3) When the porridge is done, pour in the chia seeds and 1 tablespoon of flaxseed. Stir in some raisons too with a sprinkling of cinnamon.


4) Pour the porridge into a bowl and drop some berries on the top with some flaked almonds.
